I had fun getting the house - and food and drinks - ready for Mother's Day guests. Mom, sister Beth, and brother J.R, and spouses came.
Those Paulist Choir folks made a big splash in Logansport - There were several articles - here are three from the Logansport papers that week.
I hope that Grandma Nora and her sister, Anna enjoyed the music. I'm assuming that the Sisters are the School Sisters of Notre Dame that taught at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
I was thrilled to host Mother's Day at my home. I'm really enjoying the new configuration of my house. I'm doing much better at keeping it organized and it lends it's self well to entertaining. It's a much better reflection of my funky style and shows off my family treasures much better.
Speaking of family treasures, pictured are my brother J.R. (born 1964), sister Beth (1962), me (1961) and dear mama, Meg Gremelspacher Spitznogle (1940). Not pictured, J.R.'s wife, Anna and Beth's husband, Troy.

I kept the food pretty simple - I hadn't baked Pillsbury crescent rolls since the 1970s - they were delicious with Irish butter. Of course, everything is better with Irish butter. A little charcuterie goodies and lots of fruit. Proscecco and orange juice was the favorite drink.
I was wonderful to be able to gather!
