Two Noras: 1915 and 2023

My  paternal grandmother, Nora, was a great recorder of daily events. I have her daily notes from 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1918, 1919, 192...

Two Noras: September 5, 1914 and September 5, 2021

Nora Bauer: Saturday, September 5, 1914

Went up town this afternoon. Saw Mary Minneman. Mrs. Cramer [Kramer] was buried this morning. Had quite a large funeral.

Nora Spitznogle: Sunday, September 5, 2021

I picked up Mom for Labor Day party near Lafayette. We had fun catching up with Spitznogle cousins.

I need to figure out how Mary Minneman was related to Mary Kramer - niece by marriage?

Mom and I had a fun day. We went to Angie's annual Labor Day Sunday party. Dad and I have gone for years.
Angie Toole Blann, Dad, Christine Spitznogle Toole

We often took Dad's convertible.
Angie is the daughter of Christine, daughter of Cletus and Mary Alice Spitznogle. So Dad was Angie's great-niece and Christine was his niece.
Mom and Christine.
Christine, Gretchen (daughter) and grandson (Mason, maybe?)

I did a lousy job of taking photos. Mom and I were too busy chatting and eating. It was so nice to spend the day with Mom.
