Am having a vacation this week. Got dinner today. Manivera [?] and Gertrude were done washing at noon. We did fancy work this afternoon.

I don't have much to report. It was a typical work Tuesday and quiet evening. I looked through the 125 sympathy cards again.
How nice that Grandma Nora has a week off. I searched for any mention of a Manivera or Minerva with Gertrude and came up empty handed. I wonder if the Baurer's had a housekeeper?
Nothing exciting for me today. I'm still overwhelmed by all of the thoughtful cards that people sent after Dad died.
