Two Noras: 1915 and 2023

Was raining quite a bit tonight. Went down to the dress makers to try on my dress.  I

Nora Spitznogle: Friday, May 7, 2021

Walking, packing, reading, and swimming filled the day. I hate to leave, but I am homeward bound.

I hope that Grandma Nora will describe the new dress at some point.

We didn't need to leave for the airport until 4:45, so there was plenty of time for walking, hanging out in the pool and reading. The vacation was perfectly relaxing - I didn't realize how much I needed it...many thanks to Brenda for hosting me.

After over a year of being instructed to stay at least six feet from anyone, air travel is quite a shock. The Melbourne Airport (Florida) is delightfully small and easy to navigate. The Atlanta Airport, not so much.

I arrived back in Indianapolis a little after midnight. I helped a fellow traveller find a hotel - as metropolitan as Indianapolis is, there is no airport hotel or even anyone at the information desk at that hour.

I made it back to the neighborhood for a night cap at the Red Key.
