Busy day of airports, waiting, and travel to Vero Beach and relaxing.
What a lovely thought, Grandma Nora and two of her sisters enjoying a Saturday night uptown.
It seemed like a good idea when I booked it....my flight for my week in Vero Beach left at 6:00 A.M. this morning. I got home from my Red Key shift at 2:15 A.M. and I was showered and walking back out the door a few minutes after 3:00. I drove to the airport, parked, and was in the terminal by 4:00. I jogged around the airport until the flight boarded at 4:30 and promptly fell asleep the minute I was buckled in. I had a layover in Atlanta, followed by more plane napping.
Brenda and Gary fetched me at the Melbourne, FL airport. It was a lovely sunny drive to Vero Beach. The house they rented is lovely - and has a pool! Brenda, Sylvia, and I had a fabulous dinner at the Ocean Grill. I also had a delicious grapefruit martini.
