Was pretty cold today. I was so hoarse this morning that I could barely talk.

I wound up working from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M today. Luckily all was calm.
I hope Grandma Nora's hoarseness was from her talking and laughing with her cousin, Sister Hyacinth.
2020 saw civil unrest and the #BlackLivesMatter movement and a summer of protests surrounding the death of George Floyd. The verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was announced today.
I made contingency plans in case the verdict was such that would cause more unrest. Luckily all was calm.
