Two Noras: October 8, 1914 and October 8, 2021

Paul called me up this afternoon and said he had been sick all week and could not go to the box supper. Then it rained so hard and we could not go in the car so had to stay at home.

Worked downtown at Second Helpings today. I joined the Silo Auto Club - I think I'm really going to enjoy it. Kassie met me there for a tour and drinks and dinner. We had a blast looking at the cars and chatting. 

I did a search of the newspapers and couldn't find any mention of a box supper. Since Grandma Nora mentioned a car, I wonder if it was theirs or someone offered a ride. 

I decided to join the Silo Auto Club. I'm a member of the Propylaeum, but this feels purely social, and I think I need that. Kassie met me for my inaugural visit as a member and we had  a lovely time.
