Nora Bauer: Friday, September 19, 1914
Anna, Gertrude, and I was up town tonight. I got some goods for two new waists. We saw Mabel and Will uptown. Was to Monticello and Delphi today. Got home at 2:15.

10:30 Mass at Saint Joan of Arc this morning, followed by grocery shopping and catching up on housework. I sure enjoyed the lovely day of puttering and napping and puttering and napping.
It sounds like Grandma Nora had a busy work day and fun evening with her sisters. Grandma Nora spent $1.38 on the goods to make her shirt waists.
Not much to tell about my day. Mass, groceries, and puttering around.
